Part tech, part science, part real life. 100% clarity.

Built by founders who were tired of guesswork

Gutcultured started with a simple belief:

The gut has been ignored for too long,
and health-conscious adults deserve honest gut health, not more hype
.

We’re founders who have spent years in tech and data - and we were frustrated with vague 'probiotic blends,' buzzwords, and marketing dressed up as “science.”

Like many people under constant pressure, we spent years trying different approaches, only to become increasingly skeptical of vague claims and short-term fixes.

So, we built what we couldn’t find:
a formula with the most clinically-verified strains, and a simple, daily ritual that fits into a real, ambitious life.

Meet the Founders

For Stijn, the mission is personal.

After a close family loss, and learning he carries the BRCA1 gene, a passive approach to health stopped feeling like an acceptable approach. He started looking for science-backed ways to support long-term health, and one theme kept coming back: the gut.

That search led him into clinical research, strain selection, and partners who could support every decision with real data, not good marketing.

For Hannah, it was about clarity, simplicity, and living one's best life.

A former litigator, tech CEO, and VP Product, she spent years building systems to help others perform at a high level. But fertility conversations, peri-menopause awareness, and years of hard training, martial arts, weights, and adventure sports like horse riding, scuba diving and skydiving raised a simple question: Is my health strategy as intentional as my career?

She wanted a daily ritual that felt smart, sustainable, and kind to a busy, ambitious life. Not another confusing wellness experiment.

Together

Together, we bring science, strategy, and design to gut health.

We combine Stijn’s deep dive into clinical evidence and longevity science, with Hannah’s focus on systems, usability, and behavior-change lens. Gutcultured is our answer for people like us: health-conscious, short on time, allergic to fluff, and looking for something that fits into a real, full life.

We built Gutcultured to be something we’d confidently recommend to the people we care about most.
A system under pressure

Why We Built Gutcultured

Modern life is quietly wearing down your gut microbiome - processed food, stress, poor sleep, travel and antibiotics.

When the gut barrier weakens, toxins may slip through and can trigger what science calls increased intestinal permeability, which may cause inflammation (or in common speak, “leaky gut”). In everyday life, this can show up as brain fog, bloating, low mood, sensitive skin, and getting sick more often.

We believe your microbiome is the command center of your digestion, immunity, mood, focus and energy. Daily support matters.
